A Unique Chef’s Dinner at Valkoinen Sali – October 4, 2025

Our top chefs will gather once again on Saturday, October 4, at 6 PM for a very special eight-course Chef’s Dinner. This time, the spotlight is on the season’s finest ingredients. Guest chef Antti Vahtera will be joining the line-up.

This year’s dinner will be hosted at Valkoinen Sali, a stunning venue right in the heart of Helsinki on Aleksanterinkatu. With its unmatched atmosphere and prime location, this is the one autumn dinner you won’t want to miss.

Price: €159 per person, including eight courses with wine pairings.

Enjoy the End of Summer and Crayfish Season on Särkkä Island

The joyful crayfish season continues through September at the 100-year-old Särkänlinna! Book your spot early, as we order fresh crayfish in advance based on reservations.

Särkänlinna’s à la carte restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5 PM to midnight until September 13, and by order from September 15 to 30, 2025.

Our island restaurant, located just off Kaivopuisto, is especially atmospheric on these darker autumn evenings – and the short ferry ride over makes your visit even more special. So reserve your table, hop on the ferry from Ursula’s pier, and enjoy a wonderful evening on this stunning Helsinki fortress island!

Every February, our restaurants celebrate French black winter truffles – each in their own unique way.
Our truffles come from Maison Pébeyre in Southwest France, a family estate founded in 1897. Each truffle is hand-picked and carefully inspected. Known as the “black diamonds” of Périgord, their deep umami flavour and perfect texture bring structure and richness to every dish, enhancing flavours with their powerful aroma.
Details on our February 2026 truffle menus will be posted here by January.

May 1st is a day for celebration! Our restaurants in the heart of Helsinki will be serving festive lunches and brunches with two seatings – one in the late morning and one early in the afternoon. Our summer island restaurant, Särkänlinna, will also open for the season on May Day.
Once the menus and exact times are confirmed, we’ll share them here. Come join us for the happiest day of spring!

Mom, mum, mamma, mami, mutsi, mummo, granny, nonna… whatever you call the special women in your life, bring them to dine with us on the second Sunday of May. Our central Helsinki restaurants will be serving only the very best – because nothing less would do for mothers. Särkänlinna will also host a Mother’s Day lunch.

Our beautiful summer restaurant Särkänlinna is open from early May until the end of September. In the first and last weeks of the season, it operates as a private-booking venue, and its à la carte opens in mid-May.

Our joyful crayfish season kicks off every year on July 21 and continues right through to the end of September. The city’s most legendary crayfish parties have been held at Särkänlinna for over 100 years. We’ll publish the Särkänlinna crayfish menu in June – but you can book your own party right now!
